Our club year runs July 1 to June 30, and new-member dues are prorated by the season you join.
Our Membership Pledge
As a member of the Rossmoor Woman’s Club, I hereby pledge my loyalty and support to the club by my attendance at meetings, my participation in events, and my financial support of fundraisers.
Roles & Responsibilities
Who does what
Our club runs on volunteers stepping into clear roles. Tap any officer to see what the position covers.
Leads the club and the Board, appoints committee chairs and appointed officers with Board approval, co-signs checks, and serves on every committee except Nominating.
Stands in for the President and would fill a mid-term vacancy, serves as our liaison to Orange District and the state and national federations, and guides all section chairs.
Chairs the program committee and plans the speakers and topics for our monthly meetings.
Develops fundraising beyond the two tours and brings proposed fundraisers to the Board for approval.
Chairs the Membership Committee, recruits and welcomes new members, processes applications and dues, and organizes new-member orientation and mentoring.
Coordinates every part of the Holiday Home Tour and works with the Garden Tour Officer on home selection.
Coordinates every part of the Spring Garden Tour and Outdoor Marketplace.
Keeps the official minutes and motions from Board and general meetings as our permanent record.
Handles club correspondence and email blasts, picks up the mail each week, and keeps the member email list current.
Collects dues, keeps the paid-member records, and tracks emeritus and good-standing status.
Manages the club’s accounts, pays the bills, files tax and regulatory reports, and closes the books each June.
Chairs Budget and Finance, builds the annual balanced budget, and vets the charities we fund.
Builds relationships with local media and shares news of our activities and events.
Tracks meeting reservations and payments and confirms the final head count with the venue.
Arranges meeting venues and catering, provides the table centerpieces, and oversees our greeters.

For long-time members of 10 or more years. Reviewed by the Board case by case.
Expense Reimbursement
Submit with a receipt for any budgeted expense before June 30 of the club year.
