About the Rossmoor Woman’s Club
Since 1958, our members have been turning friendship into scholarships, volunteer hours and hands-on help for neighbors across Rossmoor, Los Alamitos and beyond.
Our Story
Improving the quality of life since 1958
The Rossmoor Woman’s Club (RWC) invites you to be part of a proud legacy of service, friendship, and empowerment! Since 1958, we’ve enriched the greater Northwest Orange County and Long Beach area through fundraising, volunteerism and other community support. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and an active member of both the General Federation of Women’s Clubs and the California Federation of Women’s Clubs, our mission is to improve lives.
Our two signature annual fundraisers, the winter Holiday Home Tour and Spring Garden Tour, combine with other year-round initiatives to allow us to support a wide range of local organizations and causes, including:

- Precious Life Shelter

- Sunburst Youth Academy
- Support for military families and veterans
- Bethune Transitional Program, Long Beach

Each year, we evaluate emerging needs and expand our support to meet new challenges.
Friendship & Fun
It’s not all work and no play
We socialize at monthly luncheon meetings and in a variety of special interest groups, called sections, where members can garden, craft, golf, play bunco, discuss books, cook and more.

What We Do
Hands-on help across the community
Among other things, our members give their time, talents and funds to programs like these.
Student Scholarships
We award competitive scholarships to graduating seniors at Los Alamitos High School, and support student awards at Golden West College and CSULB.
Youth Programs
We back the Youth Center in Los Alamitos and local youth shelters with funding and volunteer hours all year long.
Hunger Relief
Members roll up their sleeves to sort and pack food for Food Finders, getting meals to neighbors who need them.
Family Support
We cook meals at the Ronald McDonald House in Long Beach for families staying close to a hospitalized child.
Military families
We donate backpacks and school supplies to the children of military families.
Neighbors in need
From clothing to handmade ditty bags and diaper cakes, our sections turn workdays into practical help for local causes.

Affiliations
Part of a movement
We are affiliated with the California Federation of Women’s Clubs and the General Federation of Women’s Clubs, an international community service organization that provides education, training and interaction opportunities for volunteers.
