Rossmoor Woman’s Club supports Long Beach K-9s
The Rossmoor Woman’s Club was proud to present a donation to Pat Ellington, a member of the club who is also on the Long Beach K-9 Officers Association Board. The donation will help support the Long Beach Police Department’s K-9 program.
Through fundraising and generous community support, the Association purchases police dogs for the department and helps cover their vaccinations, annual checkups, dental care, and most medical expenses throughout their service.
This donation is especially meaningful because one of the dogs, Duke, a beautiful Belgian Malinois, was purchased by Pat in honor of her late husband, Duke. As fate would have it, K-9 Duke was even born on Pat’s birthday—a story that truly feels meant to be.
Thank you, Pat, and the Long Beach K-9 Officers Association, for your unwavering dedication to keeping our community safe. We are honored to support your mission and these incredible four-legged heroes!
